Ceara / North-East Brazil

The state of Ceará has an area of 148’000 km² and is located in the booming north-east of Brazil. Ceará is considered as one of the most beautiful areas of Brazil due to its unique combination of 560 km of broad beaches at the coast and tree covered mountains with historical cities in the inland.
But not just the scenery enthuses: The region was influenced by many different cultures and until today, Indian- as well as Afro-Brazilian traditions could be preserved. and are still practiced. Although being the poorest state in Brazil, its beaches are the most favored tourist destinations in Brazil, with over 3’000 hours of sunshine per year and a year-round temperature of 28°C. By no doubt you will enjoy the perfect climate, the hospitality of the people and the typical food.
